Candidate Business Agent
Greg Gauthier

Aloha Sisters and Brothers! I have proudly served you since September of 2001 as a Business Agent. I am elected from the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. I want to say a sincere mahalo to all of our unit officers who have volunteered their time to assist their fellow workers through one of the most difficult economic times we have seen in decades. We must continue to encourage all of our members to hold fast to our collective values and remain strong during these times in order to protect our wages and benefits from becoming another statistic of a battered economy. We must all resolve to participate in the democratic process in this Union. We must vote, we must represent our departments and ourselves in grievances, and we must ask questions of ourselves and our leaders. I am proud to be a part of a cohesive team in Hawaii Division that focuses on working together in order to maintain and gain crucial ground for working people. I would respectfully encourage you to get involved, because justice cannot happen without you. Our Union provides us with the tools to achieve justice, but they can only work if we use them. God Bless!
