-- Dr. King, Where Do We Go from Here? 1967

HONOLULU — Most people know Martin Luther King, Jr. for his “I have a dream” speech. But Local 142 marches every year on MLK Day to honor the tireless union and organizing work he did to turn those dreams to reality.
The children, family and staff of Local 142 passed out candy attached to messages of Dr. King (pictured above is Matt Arakawa handing out candy and the Longshore Division getting ready to march).
