2021 International Convention
Delegate Longshore (Maui) Candidate:
MICHAEL “MIKEY” VICTORINO, JR.

Hello my brothers and sisters, my name is Michael Victorino Jr, I am running to be a HLD Delegate for the 2021 International Convention (Maui). I have been so blessed to be a part of such a deep rooted organization, which has changed so many lives for the better. I have been a recipient of the great strides that ILWU has made. My mom Joycelyn has been an ILWU Division Clerk on Maui since February of 1988. I’ve been an active member since 1998, so it is safe to say that I have grown up part of the ILWU family and completely proud of it. I am so grateful to be part of ILWU – a bottom up organization that is truly owned and run by its members. We as a membership have an obligation to our forefathers, current and future members to continue to press forward and fight for good paying jobs and better working conditions. As a leader this is paramount in keeping true to our model, “An injury to one is an injury to all”. In solidarity Mikey V.
