Maui Division Director Candidate
ROBERTO "BOBBY" ANDRION, JR.

Aloha,
I would like to express my gratitude for the chance to have served as your Division Director. This triennium has not been easy but rather challenging. Our union encountered many obstacles magnified by the pandemic. Our membership in the Maui Division, especially the hotel workers were faced with temporary layoff, no medical, and no source of income. Securing members' benefits was our top priority. Our Local President and Division FTO's were at the forefront of this pandemic to assist with unemployment for both Maui and Lanai. With the Local's lead and guidance, we negotiated with various hotels the Pandemic Relief Agreement (PRA) to maintain medical and to preserve seniority for our members. With our current leaders' unending pursuit to "Leave no one behind," our Union stood strong in the face of uncertainty. My objective and mission as your Division Director is to protect and elevate a higher standard of living for all members. Therefore, I ask for your support and vote in this coming November 2021 to re-elect me as your Division Director for the next triennium.
Sincerely,
Roberto "Bobby" Andrion

Maui Division Director Candidate
RONALD "KANALOA" SILIADO

Aloha Brothers, Sisters and Fellow Workers! My name is Ronald Siliado and I humbly seek for vote for the position as a Maui Division Director for Local 142. I've dedicated my 35 years with Makena Beach Resort and now the recent owner, Makena Shares Services. I come from a proud family of ILWU members with both parents as unit chairman from their respective jobs for many years. I am currently a Precinct 2 President for the Democratic Party, Unit Chairman, and participated in numerous grievances, conventions, seminars and training classes to better represent my fellow workers. As a director, my goal is to ensure that all members will feel that we, as a union, have served them well to the best of our ability in the event of grievances, contract negotiation, critical issues, or to simply answer any questions and concerns.
Again, I humbly ask for vote! If appointed as a director, my objective is to bring change, unity and leadership to the union to help secure the future of our members as we navigate through the challenges and uncertainty that is still ahead of us.
In Solidarity, Ronald Siliado

Business Agent Candidate
CHARLES ANDRION

Aloha Brothers and Sisters of the ILWU Local 142.
My name is Charles Andrion and I am running for Business Agent At-Large for the Maui Division. It has been an honor to serve my fellow brothers and sisters this past term during these uncertain times. Although the economy is slowly getting back to normal, we are still faced with many hurdles and challenges. Seeing the uphill battle that we are faced with has fueled my fire to fight even harder for everyone as union members. I am compelled to push forward, take a stand, and not allow companies to strip us of our union rights and benefits. In addition, I look forward to continuing to build the bond that I have with my fellow members as well as to create bonds with our new members. With this, I humbly ask that you grant me the privilege in electing me in this coming 2021 election. I greatly appreciate your support and look forward to bridging the generational divide.
Sincerely,
Charles Andrion

Business Agent Candidate
JOSEPH "JOE" AQUINO

Aloha,
My name is Joseph Aquino and I've been a Business Agent for 6 years. Prior to being elected to this position, I was a Welder for HC & S before it closed. At HC & S I was the unit editor, handled grievances and assist with workers compensation. I've learned a lot since joining the union and am still improving my skills in fighting for your safety at work, changes in condition of employment, fair wages, work opportunities, and your rights as a union member. My heart has been and always will be members first. Though we may have not won every time, we have taken away what we learned in the process. When we were successful, it has been rewarding to know that my best efforts have given you a voice in the workplace. Please allow me to continue to support you in this way by selecting me as your business agent. I humbly ask your vote this coming election. Like I said before, "help me to help you."
Mahalo,
Joe Aquino
