The Local Convention is the highest governing body of the ILWU Local 142. In the face of the unpredictable coronavirus, the Local worked hard to transition this year's 29th Convention from a large- scale in-person event to a virtual one held on members' respective islands to ensure the safety of all.
The 29th Convention adopted 18 Resolutions which
define the policy of the union on certain critical issues or express the sentiment of the delegation.
